Business valuation is considered part art, part science. It is comprised of a diverse set of philosophical approaches used to estimate the economic value of a business. Valuation is used to determine the price someone is willing to pay or receive for the sale of a business. Business valuation is all about determining the probable selling price of a business, the same valuation tools are often used by business appraisers to resolve various disputes. In this course, we focus on understanding the most widely utilized approaches to valuing a small business.
