Success in business is a cooperative adventure and typically, the best team wins.

Selecting the right accountant, lawyer, banker and financial advisor is critical. In this course, we look at creating an advisory board and enlisting the right people — a fundamental step towards business success. An advisor’s role is typically that of a mentor or guide and differs from a consultant, in that an advisor is more involved with the leadership of the business.

 

Learning Objectives:

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe how each of the strategic business advisers contributes to a business’s success
  • Identify criteria for selecting small business advisers
  • Explain the influence of peripheral advisers
